Pete Ham - Tom Evans - Bob Jackson - Mike Gibbins
Bob Jackson joined Badfinger in 1974. Pete Ham had left the band and Bob was drafted in as Pete's replacement. Long story short: Pete soon returned and Badfinger became a 5 piece for a brief time. The 5 piece line-up promoted the recently released "Wish You Were Here" album on a UK Tour with Welsh band "MAN". Due to the well documented situation the band had found themselves in at this time, at the end of that tour Joey Molland left Badfinger and so they became a 4 piece once again. Head First would be the final album to feature Pete Ham.
At long last, we've sourced the original multi-tracks recorded at The Beatles' Apple Studios in 1974 and HEAD FIRST has it's first official mix and master, 50 years after Pete, Tom, Bob and Mike created it.
